Annette MacNair Owner/Trainer
I am committed to making training a fun experience for you and your dog using positive, force free methods. The benefit of positive reinforcement training is a strengthened relationship between you and your dog. This is based on leadership and trust.
My experience with training dogs began more than 35 years ago when I trained the first dog that was to be my own as a young adult. I worked for many years training horses and then got back into dogs, doing in home training for my dog sitting customers. Starting in 2008, I apprenticed with a positive reward based motivational trainer and started teaching classes.
Over the last 12 years, I have attended educational seminars with Suzanne Clothier, Ian Dunbar, Dr. Nicholas Dodman, Bob Bailey and Pamela Dennison. Over the years, I have worked with hundreds of dogs and their dedicated humans in both a class setting and in home private training. My greatest joy is helping clients to see the potential within their dog. It is incredibly empowering to see your dog doing what was previously thought to be impossible! In the process, you become the clear and benevolent leader that all dogs crave. Whether you have a dog that is a naughty handful, or just want a dog that is a joy to own, I can help!
